Team Training Camp in Abu Dhabi (23.02.2011)

At the moment the athletes of Abu Dhabi Triathlon Team enjoy their name giving location – Abu Dhabi, or better Al Ain the oasis city in the centre of the emirate. The conditions there: 30 degree Celsius and sunshine wherever you go!

Of course, the goal of this team training camp is to increase the performance and to get ready for the first races of the year, especially for the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon on March 12^th. But there are also new team members and they have to be integrated in the existing formation. It does not seem too hard to do that with Kirstin Moeller and Paul Ambrose. The tiny German girl is always interested in experiences and knowledge about training and Paul on the other side amuses the rest of the athletes with his Australian jokes.

The highlight of the 3 weeks will be the triathlon in Abu Dhabi on March 12^th. Beside that especially the new ones will explore the country as it is so different compared to their home countries. The members of Abu Dhabi Triathlon Team are the ambassadors of the emirate so they have to know what the country stands for.
