2 months ago Henderson in the US State Nevada was the venue of a world championship – Ironman 70.3. On Saturday the ITU titles for the long distance triathlon will be also given away there. The distances will be longer: 4 km swim, 120 km bike and a 30 km run. Rachel feels ready to do it again. Just 4 weeks after she celebrated her great success in Kona as 4th at the Ironman World Championships she will again be at the starting line. She spent the time between these 2 races in the USA to avoid a lot of traveling and to recover well. Though it will be a tough challenge.
On the other side Paul will compete in his first races after his break. As practiced successfully before this year he will do a double within one week. On Saturday he will be at the Ironman 70.3 Port Macqaurie and a week later at Shepparton which is a race of the same series. The first one Paul will compete in with race number 4 and he has good chances to continue his success series on the podium.
Last but not least Jan will be at the ITU World Cup in Columbian Guatape. After his multiple high altitude training camps he likes the conditions which he will face in Columbia. He still has his big goal, the Olympic qualification in mind and every ranking point counts for him.
