Paul Ambrose beaten narrowly (07.06.2011)

2nd place at Ironman 70.3 Mooseman

The Australian had the fastest swim split of the day, followed closely by the oother favorites Maxim Kriat and Raynard Tissink.
On the difficult bike course in Mooseman Kriat and Ambrose put the hammer down to immediately sperate themselves from the rest of the field. From that moment on it became a private duel between the two. No one could follow the pace of Paul and Kriat, and so they entered T2 together.
The were side by side during the hole run. The World Cup experienced Kriat then had the slightly better final sprint, so that Paul crossed the finish line in second place. However, he can be proud of its performance at the Ironman 70.3 Mooseman.
