Paul 2nd at Ironman 70.3 Lake Stevens (15.08.2011)

Another place on the podium for Paul Ambrose in the US State Washington.

The Australian is known for a busy race schedule. At the moment he has a great form and his series goes on. In Lake Stevens just his countryman Luke Bell was faster than Paul. The race went pretty similar as his other races in the past weeks. After a good swim he could stay in the lead together with Bell. On the half marathon he was just a minute behind him. The Canadian Jeff Symonds ran faster than all his other opponents but in the end he could not overtake the first 2.

In 2 weeks Paul will be at the start line of Ironman Louisville which he won last year. That is his last chance to get a ticket for the Ironman World Championships by finishing his 2nd Ironman of the season.
