Now just the victory misses! (10.07.2011)

Paul Ambrose reached again a second place at the Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island. He was just seconds behind the winner.

In his best discipline Paul lost the important seconds. The blending sun irritated him in the water and he came off the course. After he swam some additional meters he came back on track. With a distance of more than 2 minutes to the leader, David Kahn from the US, he jumped on his bike and chased him. Both of them rode pretty much the same time. Paul was still motivated to close the gap on the finishing 21 km run. It almost worked. Just 30 seconds were left as Kahn crossed the finish line in front of Paul. After the problems in the water he was still happy to reach that result.

Now the Australian can focus on the preparation for the Ironman 70.3 world championships in September. On that way he will do another 70.3 race in his adopted home in Boulder.
