Pete Jacobs became 2nd at the Australian long course Championships with the new Storck Aero2, which he got just a few days before the race. Usually every athlete needs a while to get used to a new bike. That was also Pete’s goal for the next weeks. On one of his training rides a truck and a car blocked his way yesterday and he had to pull his brakes. As everything happened very fast he flipped over his aero bars and crashed on the road. One of his collarbones did not resist the impact and broke. So Pete will have a break of training and racing for some weeks and he cannot race in Abu Dhabi and as it looks like also at the Ironman Australia.
