Another weekend, another Ironman (27.07.2011)

Kristin Möller had to drop out at the Ironman European Championship because of a broken front wheel. She will try it again on the upcoming weekend. In the English Bolton she will show her good form.

Kristin came to Frankfurt with high expectations. Even the bad weather forecast was not something which made her unhappy. After a good swim performance she overtook some athletes on the first bike kilometres. But before she finished half of the course the race was over for her. She had a broken front wheel which she could not fix.

Bur already on the upcoming weekend she will try it again at the Ironman UK. Her big goal for Frankfurt was to keep the chance of an Ironman World Champion qualification alive. Now the dream is over. But it is just her 2^nd year of Ironman racing so she will have some years left to race in Kona. In England Kristin wants to finish under the best 3 females which should be a realistic goal. The course in England will fit her. Especially on the bike she will fly over the 2.500 meter of altitude differences.
