Another top result for Paul Ambrose (13.06.2011)

After just 6 days recovery Paul got 4th at Ironman 70.3 Bosie.

Paul travelled to Boulder after the Mooseman but did not unpack his stuff as he left 4 days later. Before the race he was confident to have another good race. He felt well. The only thing he was not looking forward was the cold water which was just above 10 degrees. It was the coldest swim he ever experienced. Though he was again in the lead coming out of the lake. Usually Paul likes hilly bike course. In Boise there were just a few meters of altitude to do. But he had a good bike and run split and crossed the finish line as 4th. A week after he placed 2nd at Ironman 70.3 Mooseman he was happy with the result.

The American winner Ben Hoffmann rode faster on the bike as everyone else and kept his lead on the half marathon. He won in front of his countryman Nicolas Thomson and the Canadian Jeff Symons.

Paul needs now some recovery. His next race will be Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island which is on July 10th.
