Andi Böcherer will not compete at Ironman European Championship in Frankfurt (28.06.2010)

After the Citytriathlon in Heilbronn, where Andi got 2nd, he injured his calf. That forces him to cancel his participation at the Ironman on the weekend.

With the results of the last weeks Andi looked forward to Frankfurt. He spent last week on the races course to analyze the important parts. But he already had problems with a hardened calf, which was the result of his last race in Heilbronn. And then the hardening became a strain which makes a competition next week impossible. That is pretty disappointing for Andi because he had to cancel last year’s race because of an injury too. Now he tries to get his calf under control to plan the rest of the season.
